Two Suspects from Glendale Arrested after Residential Burglary

A man and a woman were in jail after authorities found items stolen from a Tuesday, Jan. 16, burglary in Glendale at their residence, police said Thursday. Police were able to locate the items through the find my iphone feature on the victims phone. When they got to the residence with a search warrant they found a man and his girlfriend watching tv in the living room. One of the suspects, John Simmons, 40, of Glendale, was arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property and possession of burglary tools. He is being held in custody of bail at $50,000. His girlfriend, Jennifer Herrera, 43, of Glendale, was arrested on suspicion of possessing stolen property. She is also being held in custody on bail of $1,000. Both were booked at the Glendale Police Department according to jail records. Glendale police detectives were able to get a search warrant and found stolen items at their residence in Glendale.
